New Director at Slifer House Museum
Kathryn Balistrieri, of Lewisburg, has been named Director of the Slifer House Museum. Balistrieri looks forward to continuing to preserve and interpret the unique Victorian collection at the Slifer House. "I am enthusiastic about increasing the awareness of this incredible museum and the history it represents within the community," said Balistrieri.

May 24, 2010 is the date for the 11th Annual Albright Care Services
Golf Challenge. The event will be held at the Bucknell Golf Club. The event has
raised over $450,000 for the Albright Benevolent Care fund at RiverWoods Senior
Living Community in Lewisburg and Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community in York.
Household Coordinators Named
Three employees at RiverWoods Senior Living Community have been named Household Coordinators. Janet Johnson, CNA, will be the Household Coordinator for Applewood Lane; Vicki Delsite, CNA, will be the Household Coordinator for Birchwood Lane; and Sue Vance, Activities Assistant, will be the Household Coordinator for Fernwood Lane.

RiverWoods Senior Living Community’s 30th Annual Rock-A-Thon will be held from 2 – 3:30pm on Friday, February 12th in Marlow Hall, located in the RiverWoods Nursing Care Center.

Grande Illumination Raises 2010
The 11h Annual Grande Illumination event at RiverWoods Senior Living Community raised more than $12,000 for the benevolent care fund. The Benevolent care fund assists those who live at RiverWoods but are unable to pay the full cost of their care.

Plans for Health Fair Underway
The 2009 Health Fair at RiverWoods Senior Living Community will be held on Wednesday, October 7 from 10am to 3pm.
RiverWoods to Celebrate Assisted Living Week
In honor of National Assisted Living Week, September 13-19, 2009, RiverWoods Senior Living Community will host an open house at Riverview Manor, the catered living (assisted living) facility on the campus.
