RiverWoods Car Show May 15

One of the largest Car Shows in the Susquehanna Valley will take place on Saturday, May 15 at RiverWoods Senior Living Community in Lewisburg from 10am - 3pm
  This annual event attracts more than 500 visitors and raises more than $6,000 for the RiverWoods Nursing Care Center each year. This year's show is being dedicated to the memory of Randy Arbogast, of Lewisburg who served as the Car Show announcer/disc jockey for many years.
    The 2010 RiverWoods Car Show will feature 24 categories of cars including antiques, Pontiacs, Corvettes, trucks, and Mustangs. There will also be American and Foreign motorcycle categories.  First, second and third place trophies will be awarded in each category and overall "People's Choice" and "Resident's Choice" trophies will be awarded.
    Pre-registrations will be accepted now until May 12. The pre-registration fee is $10. Registration will be held the day of the event from 8:30am until Noon and the cost is $12.General admission to the Car Show is free, but there is a $3 parking fee. There will be plenty of food and beverages available to purchase including ice cream, pizza, sausage sandwiches, nachos, funnel cakes, homemade potato chips, soups, and more. The RiverWoods Auxiliary will hold a bake sale during the event.
    Door prize donations and trophy sponsorships are being accepted. Door prize donations may be dropped off at the RiverWoods Nursing Care Center.  Those interested in sponsoring a trophy should call Michelle Houtz at 570-522-6220.
    All proceeds from the 2010 Car Show will benefit the RiverWoods Nursing Care Center.
