Meals On Wheels (Lewisburg/Milton)

The Lewisburg/Milton Meals on Wheels program is based out of  and sponsored by RiverWoods Senior Living Community.

Meals on Wheels packs nutritious, hot meals for distribution to adults over the age of 18 who are unable to prepare their own meals due to medical or physical reasons.

Clients are served a noon meal  Monday through Friday, excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas. The meal includes dessert and recipients can choose a low fat, regular, carbohydrate controlled, or no salt meal.

The cost for each meal is $3.25. Limited financial assistance is available for those who qualify.

Meals are delivered to the client’s home in the late morning or early afternoon by a volunteer.

How do I enroll?

If you or a loved one are in need of Meals on Wheels services, please call our coordinator at 570.522.1934, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 1pm.

Meals on Wheels Service Area:

West Milton:  Borough limits North and South, East to the river, and West to the West Milton Bank on High Street

Milton:  9th Street on the North, South on Route 405, East to Route 147, and west to the river.

Montandon:  North to Milton, South on Route 405, East to Route 147, and West to the river

Lewisburg: North to Colonel John Kelly Road, South to River Road and Beagle Club Road, East to the river, and West to The Meadows, Fairfield Road on Route 45, Bull Run Crossing including the Valley View development connecting Smoketown Road, and sections of Kelly Township as far as Churches Road, Pawling Lane, and Colonel John Kelly Road
