RiverWoods Enhanced Services
Care in Your Home on Campus
RiverWoods Enhanced Services offers compassionate personal care and companionship services for our independent living residents.
Services are available seven days a week and can be provided for an hour, a few hours, or 24 hours a day. All charges are billed on a monthly basis and appear on the same statement as your monthly maintenance fee. No payment is required at the time of service and tipping is prohibited.
Maintenance Services
This service is offered for those maintenance needs that are not covered in your agreement with RiverWoods. For example, you may need help to repair or assemble personal furniture or appliances. Scheduled services are billed in 30-minute increments and non-scheduled services are billd for a minimum of one hour.
In-Home Nursing Services
Nursing assistants and licensed pratical nurses are available to independent living residents to assist with wound care, injections, eye drops, blood draws, etc. Services are billed in 30-minute increments.
Laundry Services
This service includes pick-up, delivery, wash, dry, and fold.
- Personal clothing, bed linens, and towels (includes pillow cases, sheets, and mattress pad)
- Bedspread/comforter/blankets
- Ironing
Private Transportation
Transportation is available for a small fee for any non-scheduled off-campus activity (no fee if scheduled activity). This would include doctor visits or special events at the local university or churches.
Other Services
- Shopping: make a list and a staff membmer will go shopping for you.
- Escort Assistance: A Resident Support Assistant is avaialbe to escort you to physician appointments, off-campus activities, and other events.
