RiverWoods Car and Tractor Show Raises $6,350 for Resident Enrichment Fund

LEWISBURG – More than $6,300 was raised at the annual RiverWoods Car and Tractor Show held on September 21, 2019.  All proceeds will be donated to the Resident Enrichment Fund, which supports programs, services, equipment and recreation for abundant senior living throughout the continuum of care at RiverWoods.


There were approximately 200 cars, tractors, trucks and motorcycles at this year’s show. This was the first year that there was antique tractor category and there was a great turnout of tractors for judging. First, second and third place trophies were awarded in all classes by a panel of judges. Trophies were also presented for the People’s Choice and Residents’ Choice awards.


This year’s show also featured a craft sale and silent auction. RiverWoods would like to thank their sponsors for this year’s show, including Watsontown Dental and Dr. Dale Chomas, Hepco Construction, Watsontown Excavating, the RiverWoods Auxiliary, CILS Incorporated, BZ Motors, Best Plumbing, David C. Holman, DPM, Oberdorf Carpet One, and Robin A. Myers, DPM, PC.


RiverWoods also thanks the food vendors at the show, including Blyler Foods, Sodexo and Friends, Todd Alexander and Incredible Funnel Cakes of Bloomsburg. W.A. DeHart Inc. donated bottled water for the show and Utz Quality Foods donated potato chips. Attendees also enjoyed music provided by Tuxes ‘n Tunes.
