The Slifer House Summer Concert Series will wrap up with our third concert on August 14th. Eric Sundberg and KJ Reimensnyder will perform beginning at 7 p.m.
KJ Reimensnyder is a singer, songwriter and guitar player, but also has been seen performing with a banjo, mandolin, lap dulcimer, autoharp, keyboard or djembe drum. KJ has seven albums for both adult and family friendly audiences. In recent years, KJ has been chosen as a keynote speaker/entertainer for many conferences. She began her non-profit in 2001 called “KJSmile, Inc” to assist with music in hospitals and special-needs camps, among other venues. KJ also performs at churches, schools, festivals, parties and more.
Eric Sundberg has been sharing his music for over five decades. While known around the region as a family music performer, Eric has also gained a reputation for giving a fine performance for adult audiences. He is also accompanied by guitar and other instruments. Eric has recorded five family albums, is a retired elementary school teacher of 33 years and an educational consultant.
KJ and Eric are looking forward to playing together on August 14th. They both have similar performance styles and a passion for sharing their music in the Susquehanna Valley, where they reside.
The location of the Slifer House Summer Concert Series has shifted from the Slifer House porch to the grassy area facing the pool patio behind Slifer House. Free bottled water and ice cream with toppings will be available. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the show. During inclement weather, concerts will be held in Marlow Hall on the RiverWoods campus.
